The Good News and the Bad News!

It’s official… The Martin family from Utah has donated $100,000 for the first ever Grand American Challenge. Competitors in the Grand American World Trapshooting Championships will have a chance to compete for this "winner-takes-all" purse on Saturday, August 14, 2010. During the Grand American, nine Handicap events will take place and a qualifier of each of those events will have a chance to shoot-off for the $100,000 prize. The last shooter standing will walk away with it all!

The bad news; Competitors can no longer try to stretch their “shooting budget” by bringing ammunition to The Grand.

The ATA has reversed its position and changed the specifications of the ammunition that will be allowed during the competition. To be compliant with the rule change Shooters must purchase the all the shells used for this year’s competition through the ATA concession at the event.
